Leeds is the North's premiere shopping destination. There are countless shops and boutiques dotted around the city and the key shopping areas are conveniently located within walking distance of each other, in part thanks to Victorian town planning and more recently, pedestrianisation. The city is home to department stores selling everything you could ever want or need and even boasts its own Harvey Nichols, the first to be established outside of London.
